I, rather uneventfully, was at home at the Vicarage darning my socks - where my wonderfully calm week has been in total contrast to the chaos Punk is causing in his online teacup (although, Senor Fripp and I are planning our own brand of chaos for early January - more of which anon).

Today at The Vicarage So where were we all at 12.12 on 12.12.12? A moment that will not recur in any of our lifetimes (unless there are some disturbingly young followers of DGM’s ageing diarists).

My inbox tells me that Punk’s latest madcap scheme is a "Tales of the Music Industry" group on Linkedin, where survivors can tell their stories from the rock n roll trenches. One of his better notions, perhaps. So if anyone has stories, you now know where to tell them. Or not.

He is easily found on Facetwit, Tumblr, and Linkedin. In fact, if he is doing the half the work he claims, then the skill is in avoiding him.

Now to solve the mystery of why the Sandy Relief concert "broadcast in the UK on Sky Arts" (according to their website), is mysteriously missing from the Sky Arts listings
